Do you have people in your life who are pushing you to live a story worth telling?

In the passage you just read, Jesus calls some fishermen to follow Him. Before He begins his ministry, He invites others to join the journey. God created us to go through life with other people. Community isn't optional; it's non-negotiable.

No matter what happens in the world, you get to decide what type of people you want to surround yourself with.

Do you have a dream for the types of friendships you want to have this year?

Do you have a vision for your family this year?

What do you want to see God do in your home in 2024?

What story do you want to tell about your relationships this year? Maybe this is the year you join a Group and surround yourself with friends who are following God. Maybe this is the year you decide to step up your hospitality and host more dinners. Whatever it is, invite God into the conversation by praying this prayer.

Prayer

Father, thank you for my friends and my family. This year, I pray that you will bring the right people into my life. Let my home be a place where people feel encouraged and reminded that they matter and that God has a plan and a purpose for their lives in Jesus’ name, Amen.
