Built to Last: Foundations for a Lifelong Marriage is a six-week course designed for couples seeking to strengthen their relationship and navigate through life’s challenges with grace and faith. This course was designed to change your perspective and help you see that struggles in marriage aren’t mistakes, but opportunities designed by God to bring you closer to Him and each other. Through exploring five foundational principles, you’ll learn to love your spouse as God loves them—with grace, forgiveness, sacrifice, and unending commitment. You will learn the importance of practicing daily relational habits such as confession and forgiveness, as well as, learn to replace selfishness with sacrifice to foster a stronger bond. This course will also guide you to build and maintain trust within your relationship, cultivate habits of love that endure through all seasons, and protect your marriage from both external and internal challenges. By the end of this course, you will craft a marriage vision to sustain your relationship, and provide a clear path to navigate through the hills and valleys of marriage. Join us and transform your marriage into a lifelong journey of love, faith, and fulfillment.

Does your work schedule prevent you from attending a men’s small group in-person? Do you want to connect with other men who want to grow their relationship with Jesus? If so, this is the small group you’ve been looking for … and the group that has been looking for you. Doug Birch leads this group and has a heart for men who travel on a regular basis, keeping them out of the normal loop of small group attendance. In 2009, facing a stark financial future, Doug embarked on what would become a 10-year journey of weekly commutes to the Bay Area (while residing in Denver) to support his family. Not sure about ‘one more zoom meeting’? Not a problem, this is an informal, t-shirt and jeans kind of scene where you can unwind and get real. Are you one of the few Christians in your corporate world – a world that at times feels oddly hostile? You’ll have a buddy here as Doug held executive tech positions at Blackhawk Network, PayPal and JP Morgan Chase.

Hi! We are currently on summer break but will kick-off in September. More details for our first get together.
A little bit about us, we are the Flores family, and we are in the Lakewood area. We have been attending RRC for almost 7 years now and couldn't imagine going anywhere else. It's been over a year ago when God had put it in our hearts to open our house and start a life group. It has been an amazing time. We are imperfect people opening our house to grow community and to pursue a perfect God! Our group is for married couples. We would also love to have social gatherings outside of our meetups throughout the year. We are pretty adventurous so if you suggest something, we are likely game to try it!

Have you recently lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend? You have probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have questions about things you have never faced before. GriefShare is a Christ-centered thirteen-week grief work program, focused on helping people understand their grief and move forward again. GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. These video seminars address the emotional, spiritual and practical needs of those in grief. Within life, one may experience other types of loss, which create feelings of grief; the loss of a job, a divorce, estrangement from a child, or leaving friends behind because of a move are a few different examples. The grief caused from these experiences is real; however, it is not the kind of grief discussed in Griefshare.

How we see God, and Jesus, determines everything about how we see the world, ourselves, and what will satisfy the deepest longing of our hearts. What do other world religions believe, and why is Christianity THE truth? Interestingly enough, many atheists in Western culture have come from a Christian background. Hindus, Buddhists, and those of the New Age Movement set Jesus Christ on the same level as their other spiritual teachers. Jews think Jesus was a misguided teacher. Muslims honor Him as prophet, but not as savior or divine. Both Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses preach Jesus as a created being, not God almighty in the flesh. On the other hand, is Christianity narrow minded, or exceptionally true among all these other voices? How do we understand those who believe differently than we do, and how can we show them the truth, in love, that the real Jesus Christ is who we’re all searching for? The goal of this class is to empower Christians in their own faith and in engaging with those of other world views.

“Honor the Messiah as Lord in your hearts. Always be ready to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you. However, do this with gentleness and respect.” (1 Peter 3:15-16a) As Christians, the challenges to our faith are fired at many angles by a skeptical world. If we are honest, we can even face these struggles within our own hearts. The questions are hard, and they are many: How do I really know God exists and cares about me? Is the God of the Old Testament the same as the God of New Testament? How can we know for sure that the Bible is God’s actual word and can be trusted? How could all the other religions be wrong, don’t they have some truth also? What do they think about Jesus? Does the Bible and science disagree? Did God create us or did we evolve? What is God doing about all the evil and suffering in the world? These questions are daunting, but don’t be discouraged. Your Christian faith holds the key to these answers. By the end of this class, you will be empowered in your own belief and in your engagement with a skeptical world.

So many of us go through life saying that we’re doing great even when we’re actually going through challenges relating to our mental health. Whether it’s because we’re embarrassed or ashamed, we find ourselves feeling isolated and struggling alone. This group is for creating a space where men can be open to discuss their mental health struggles and their wins and to surround each other with a supportive community. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 says ”Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.“ With this in mind, we will support each other in a judgement-free space. We will meet weekly online for discussions and every 4th week we will get together in person for an activity such as sharing a meal, going kayaking or taking a hike.

WHO: this group is for working Mama's that have kiddos under the age of 5 WHAT: this group is for us Mama's to take a little time for ourselves to connect and refresh so that we can show up for our families in the best ways possible (So no kids allowed, unless you are still on maternity leave). WHEN: every other Sunday or so from 2:00-4:00 WHERE: we will meet at Corvus Coffee right by campus! HOW: I am going to kick off this group by taking us through the book "Remaining you While Raising Them" by Alli Worthington. I believe that it is so important that we have a community of other Christian moms that we can build relationships with and take a little time for ourselves away from our kiddos. This is what is needed so that we can refresh and show up for our our families everyday in a Godly and healthy way. It's really hard though to take this time, when we work all day and come home at night to take care of our babies we didn't get to see all day. It's hard for us to want to take that break, to give up any of that time for ourselves because the few hours we have are so precious with our families. But we can do it! We can take some time, refill our cups and continue being the best version of ourselves, moms, and spouses.

Our 21st century American culture is extraordinarily different from the culture in which Jesus lived. So many teachings and works of Jesus go unnoticed or are misinterpreted simply because we are unaware of the ancient Jewish, secular, and pagan cultural context in which Jesus lived out His mission. While you read the Word of God, it's easy to miss the richness of Scripture because we are unaware of the cultural context and the impact that it played when the Bible was written. The goal of this class is to make the Gospels come alive to you by discovering what their many storylines and events meant within the culture of those ancient people who witnessed Jesus' ministry. As you begin to unearth these hidden treasures, you’ll gain priceless insights into the heart of Jesus and have a new-found motivation for reading God’s word.

We meet every 2-3 weeks to play board games and hangout. We play modern strategy games (i.e. Wingspan, Catan, Castles of Burgundy, and Everdell). We generally do not play the older classics (no Monopoly or Risk) or party games (no Apples to Apples). You don't need to know how to play the games ahead of time - we're very willing to teach and help out - as long as you are willing to learn and give them a try.
Childcare is not provided, but kids are welcome (we usually have some ages 6-12).

We were all designed to find fulfillment within our relationships; however, that does not take place without challenges. Why is it that we sometimes feel more connected than other times in our relationships? Perhaps you find it easy and exciting to spend time with your loved ones—or perhaps, especially when things do not go according to plan, you feel incapable of connecting or communicating with them. You then feel distant from those you love most. What if the answer to remaining connected in your relationships has been right under your nose—or, rather, right inside your head all along? Discover the simple switch in your brain that activates—or deactivates—what you most need for relational connectivity: joy. In this class, you will learn how the simple flip of this brain switch either enables you to remain present for those around you or causes you to become overwhelmed—and ultimately inhibited from being your best self when challenges arise. You’ll also learn how to maximize your relational brain, how to recognize when your brain’s joy switch is flipped, and how to take steps to restore your relational connectivity. Whether you are married or wanting to deepen your relationships with others, the Joy-Filled Relationship class seeks to help you love others and remain fully connected with yourself, while being the best version of who God made you to be.

Thrive is a gathering of women from all walks of life who seek to study God’s Word together. It’s our desire to constantly grow in our knowledge and understanding of God through exploring different biblically-based studies. Our newest study will be “Luke in The Land” by Kristi McClelland.
In our Bibles, we have four Gospels describing Jesus’s time on earth: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The land of Israel—the place Jesus walked and taught during His earthly ministry—is often referred to as the “fifth Gospel.”
Follow Kristi McLelland through Israel as we study snapshots from the Gospel of Luke to see where the stories of the Bible took place. Over 7 sessions, challenge the way you read the accounts of Jesus through teaching videos that take you to locations in Israel like Bethlehem, the Sea of Gallilee, Gethsemane, Jerusalem, and the road to Emmaus. Along the way, you'll see how Jesus, the Messiah, brought His kingdom to earth for everybody. Join us as we seek to grow in community and our faith as we venture into this amazing study of God’s Word.

God designed marriage to be the most intimate and holy earthly relationship between a husband and wife. It is a sacred covenant that mirrors our relationship with God. Our Vows Premarital Class was created to help dating, engaged, or newly married couples learn more about the marriage relationship, be equipped with tools and techniques that cultivate deeper connection, and implement effective practices that foster healthy, Christ-centered relationships. Each class will be taught by highly skilled professional counselors who specialize in the week’s topic. The class is offered twice each year taking place in February and August. The topics that are covered include: a biblical foundation of marriage, communication, conflict resolution, family of origin, marital expectations, relationship roles, affection, intimacy, relational-joy, and much more. Hey! My wife Allison and I were recently married. We have felt a strong call from God to open a group, so here we are! We want to create a safe and loving place for anyone and everyone who would like to have some tighter relationships. We will get to know each other through bible studies and hanging out, simply talking if that's where the nights take us, and maybe some hangouts at parks playing some games. We want to have a relaxed laid back environment available for us and others to grow relationships with each other, where we learn from the Bible and most importantly foster a relationship with Jesus. We meet once a month at our mountain home in Jefferson, 45 minutes from Breckenridge. We’ll hang out for the day and then head down to church together Saturday night.
